Game 3 (5-2 Chicago) at Chicago: Juan Pizarro hit a 2-run homer and lets up only 2 runs in 8+ as Wsox get first win of year/series. 5-2 Chicago

Game 4 (5-4 Chicago) at Chicago: Wsox get narrow 5-4 win to earn split in series. Wsox had lead all game and fought off Bostons charge . Hoyt Wilhelm and Eddie Fisher slammed the door. 5-4 Chicago. WSOX hit only .203 for series. Tony C and Yaz 3 homers both.
